Generating a JCL script for compiling

You can use the Generate JCL > For Compile action to generate a JCL script to submit to compile a single C or C++ PDS member or all the members of a selected partitioned data set (PDS).

1. In the Remote Systems view or the z/OS Projects view, do one of these steps:
   • Right-click the C or C++ PDS member to compile.
   • Right-click the PDS that contains the members to compile.
2. Click Generate JCL > For Compile to generate a JCL script that you can use to compile the selected C or C++ PDS member or all members of the selected PDS.
