CRASTART
The "CRASTART" method starts the CARMA server as a subtask within
RSE. It provides a very flexible setup by using a separate configuration
file that defines data set allocations and program invocations needed
to start a CARMA server. This method provides the best performance
and uses the fewest resources, but requires that module CRASTART is
located in LPA.
RSE invokes load module CRASTART, which uses the
definitions in crastart*.conf to create a valid environment
to execute batch TSO and ISPF commands. Developer for z/OS® uses
this environment to run the CARMA server, CRASERV. Developer for z/OS provides
multiple crastart*.conf files, each preconfigured
for a specific RAM.
