Enabling language sensitive help for EXEC statements
Functions such as content assist, quick fix, and real-time syntax checking for EXEC statements require access to the IMS or CICS® product documentation.
There are several options available that you can use to accessing
the IMS and CICS product documentation.
- Include the IMS or CICS product documentation as part of the current help system.
- Access the IMS or CICS product documentation remotely through the internet. This option is the default.
- Access the IMS or CICS product documentation through an intranet server.
- Access the IMS or CICS product documentation locally on your computer.
Which product documentation is needed for your environment depends on the type of EXEC statements
you are using. Table 1 lists the product documentation that is needed for the different types
of EXEC statements.
