You can search the Menu Manager Actions and Menus preference
page to locate specific actions, menus, or command strings.
For a quick display of all your Menu Manager actions and submenus in a context menu, you can press Ctrl+Alt+E (on Windows) or Command+Option+E (on macOS). You can change the key binding for this combination in the Preferences menu.
To search for an action or menu by name or for a specific
command string, complete the following steps:

Click Window (on Windows) or IBM® Developer for z/OS®
(on macOS) > .
The Preferences window opens.
- In the Preferences window,
double-click Menu Manager, and select Actions
and Menus.
The Actions and
Menus preference window opens.
- Click Find.
The Find view
opens.
- In the Enter a search string field,
do any of the following steps:
- Type the name of the action that you want to find. For example, Rename.
- Type the name of the menu that you want to find. For example, Web
Services Actions.
- Type the command string that you want to find. For example, notepad &DPN.
You can use wildcard characters in your search string. For
example, Load* to find all entries that begin
with Load.
A list of search results is displayed.
To clear the list of search results, click
Clear (

).
- From the list of search results, select the result that
you want to view, and then click Open.
If you select a menu, the contents of that menu are displayed
in the Actions and Menus tabs.
If you select an action or command string, the Properties window
opens, displaying the properties for the selected item.
