CRASTART
The "CRASTART" method starts the CARMA server as a subtask within
RSE. It provides a very flexible setup by using a separate configuration
file that defines data set allocations and program invocations needed
to start a CARMA server. This method provides the best performance
and uses the fewest resources, but requires that module CRASTART
is
located in LPA.
RSE invokes load module CRASTART
, which uses the
definitions in crastart*.conf
to create a valid environment
to execute batch TSO and ISPF commands. Developer for z/OS® uses
this environment to run the CARMA server, CRASERV
. Developer for z/OS provides
multiple crastart*.conf
files, each preconfigured
for a specific RAM.
