Setting menu options

After you use the Menu Manager to create custom actions and menus, use the Menu Options preference page to group custom subproject and file menus for a particular target environment.

About this task

You can use this preference page to customize the menu for a subproject and its files when the target environment that includes this menu option is set as the current target environment for the subproject. If you do not specify subproject or file menus in the Menu Options page, the settings that are specified in the Menu Manager Menu Selection preference page define the base and default menus that are attached to subprojects and files.
Use the Menu Options preference page to do the following tasks:
  • Create a set of menu options.
  • Rename an existing set of menu options.
  • Remove an existing set of menu options.
  • Import a set of menu options from another location.
  • Export a set of menu options to another location.
  • Configure a set of menu options.
