Commenting and uncommenting C and C++ code in the z Systems LPEX Editor

When editing C and C++ files you can convert lines to comment lines or uncomment lines in the z Systems® LPEX Editor.

In the z Systems LPEX Editor you can comment and uncomment C and C++ code as follows:

• To comment a line:
  1. Navigate to the desired line.
  2. Right-click and select Source > Comment from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+/.
• To comment several lines at a time:
  1. Select the desired lines.
  2. Right-click and select Source > Comment from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+/.
• To remove a comment from a line:
  1. Navigate to the desired line.
  2. Right-click and select Source > Uncomment from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+\.
• To uncomment several lines at a time:
  1. Select the desired lines.
  2. Right-click and select Source > Uncomment from the menu. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl+\.
