Toolbar
This topic describes the flow editor's toolbar.
The toolbar
is located above the editor area:
With one exception, all of the
functions accessible through the icons on the toolbar are also available on
the View menu (see View menu). The exception
is the function provided by the Toggle Terminal Thumbnails/Icon icon,
which is available only on the toolbar(see Appearance of Invoke screen operation nodes):


The icons on the toolbar control visual features and do not affect the
function of the currently opened flow. These icons are
described in Table 1.
Note: To
enable the Align icons, you must first use the mouse to draw a marking rectangle
around the group of nodes that you want to align (see Marking rectangle).

Manhattan Layout | Switches between normal layout of nodes and Manhattan layout of nodes. |

Show Grid | Shows a grid that you can use to check the alignment of nodes. |

Grid Properties | Opens the Grid Properties window, which allows you to set grid spacing. |

Align Left | Aligns the icons to the leftmost node. |

Align Right | Aligns the icons to the rightmost node. |

Align Center | Align the icons to the centermost node. |

Align Top | Aligns the icons to the topmost node. |

Align Middle | Align the icons to the middlemost node. |

Align Bottom | Aligns the icons to the bottommost node in the group. |

Show Distribute Box | Displays a dotted-line rectangle enclosing the current group of nodes that you have selected. |

Distribute Horizontally | Within the area enclosed by the distribute box, spaces the nodes out evenly along the horizontal axis. |

Distribute Vertically | Within the area enclosed by the distribute box, spaces the nodes out evenly along the vertical axis. |

Toggle Terminal Thumbnails/Icons | Affects the appearance of Invoke screen operation nodes only. Switches between displaying an Invoke screen operation node as an icon or as a thumbnail of the application screen associated with the node's input terminal (see Appearance of Invoke screen operation nodes). |
