Importing and exporting decision services

You can back up and share decision services by exporting them to compressed files and importing them when needed.

Exporting decision services

You can export a single decision service or all decision services in a decision automation. Exports capture only the current branch content, no history or other branches are included.

When you export a decision service, the system creates a .zip file that contains all the assets that are required to define it, including:

  • Decision artifacts
  • Business rules and decision tables
  • Test data sets
  • Decision operations
  • Deployment descriptors

Exporting a decision automation that contains multiple decision services bundles all decision services into a single .zip file.

Exporting a single decision service
  1. Open the decision automation that contains the decision service that you want to export.
  2. Click the overflow menu (Overflow menu button) in the decision service tile.
  3. Select Export.
