Saving, exporting, and importing dashboards
You can save, import, and export dashboards to preserve configurations, reuse layouts, and move dashboards between environments.
These options help you maintain consistency across environments and reduce the time required to build dashboards. Exported dashboards include structure and configuration details, and imported dashboards use the monitoring sources available in the environment.

- Click the Save icon
to store the configuration.
Exporting dashboards
Export a dashboard when you need to reuse its configuration or move it to another environment.
To export a dashboard:
- Open the dashboard that you want to export.
- From the dashboard’s overflow menu, select Export.
- Download and save the JSON file.
For more information about converting dashboards into reusable templates, see Using dashboard templates.
