Creating and customizing dashboards

You can create dashboards in Decision Insights to monitor decision service performance data. Each dashboard is based on one or more monitoring sources that represent decision services that are created in Decision Intelligence.

Before you begin

Ensure that the decision services you want to monitor appear as available monitoring sources in Decision Insights.

Procedure

  1. From the Dashboards tab, click Create.
  2. Enter a name and an optional description for the dashboard. If the description contains HTTPS URLs, they appear as links that you can click directly or from the dashboard’s tooltip. The tooltip shows the full description with all links. A confirmation dialog appears the first time that you open a link for a domain, and links from confirmed domains open without the dialog. The dialog appears again only for links that point to a new domain before you navigate outside Decision Intelligence.
  3. Select permissions and set the time range.
  4. Click Save to create the new dashboard.
  5. Add visual components such as charts, tables, or KPIs to display performance data.
  6. Arrange and resize components to organize the layout.

Results

The new dashboard appears in the dashboard list and displays performance data from the selected monitoring sources. Dashboards update automatically as new decision execution data is processed. Charts that you create in a dashboard can be associated with goals to track performance against specific objectives.
