Building decision services in Decision Designer
Decision Designer is a collaborative
environment where you can develop and test decision services.
Before you create a decision service, you need to create a decision automation. A decision automation is a container for Decision Designer users to organize one or more related decision services. Each decision service can hold several decision artifacts.

Creating decision automations
To create a decision automation, click the Create a new decision automation tile on the Decision Intelligence home page. Alternatively, you can click New decision automation + in the Recent decision automations section of the home page.
Pinning decision automations to the home page
You can pin up to four decision automations to your home page for quick access. To pin or unpin a
decision automation, click Display settings
on the home page:
- To pin a new decision automation: open the All tab, search for the
decision automation you want, and click Pin automation
.
- To unpin a decision automation: open the Pinned tab, and click
Unpin automation
next to the automation.
