Linux limitations

Remote debugging does not support the following functions on the Linux® platform:

• The expression evaluator is not available for PL/I: the values of any variables or expressions in a PL/I program are not displayed. The Variables view, the Monitors view, and hovering over a variable do not show anything.
• Bidirectional enablement for remote debug is not supported.
• The Instrument JCL for Debug Tool Debugging view does not work on Linux.
• A default browser needs to be installed for your Linux operating system if you want to use any of the following views:
  • Visual Debug view
  • Code Coverage Results view
  • Code Coverage Comparison Report view
