Use this page to set main options for a remote DB2 application launch configuration.
Connection: Specify the name of the remote system to connect to. To connect to the selected connection name, click Connect. To define a new connection, click New.
Load Module or DLL: Optionally specify up to eight load modules or DLLs to debug. These entries are ignored unless Delay Debug is selected.
Program or C Function: Specify up to eight programs or C functions to have the debugger suspend execution.
Delay Debug: Specify the default name pattern to be used when you create debug profiles that use delay debug. Use this option when you have a different naming convention for standard DTSP and Delay Debug profile names and want to run in Delay Debug mode. If you choose the Delay Debug profile, IBM® z/OS® Debugger must be configured for delay debug on your z system before you launch sessions in this mode. For more information about how to configure delay debug, see IBM z/OS Debugger preferences.
Remote Profile Activation: Use the Action list to synchronize local and remote settings and enable or disable the remote profile. Select Delete to delete the remote profile. You can create multiple debug configurations on the client, but only one profile associated with your user ID can be enabled on any remote system. The Status area indicates whether the remote profile exists or is enabled, and whether the local and remote profiles are synchronized. Specify the location of the debug profile in Profile location (EQAUOPTS) field or click Browse to select a location. The default profile name is controlled through the IBM z/OS Debugger preference page.
