Unified Management Server installation and configuration

To install Db2® CI/CD Expert, Unified Management Server (UMS) must be installed and configured as a prerequisite. The topics in this section cover how to install, configure, and validate UMS.

If UMS is already installed in your Db2 ecosystem, you can skip the UMS installation steps. However, you must verify that a UMS PTF level compatible with your Db2 CI/CD Expert release is installed and operational. After you confirm compatibility and ensure that all other prerequisites are met, you can proceed directly to the Db2 CI/CD Expert installation topics.
