During the upgrade process, UMS sometimes needs to update certain files in the
workspace directory. Sometimes, this can fail due to operating system and permission
issues.
System action
The UMS configuration step fails, and UMS is not started by
Zowe.
User response
Refer to the messages preceding the failed step, which indicate permission or
other issues. Take corrective action, such as granting Zowe started task access to files
or directories.
