Deleting a manifest

A Db2 CD administrator or a user assigned as an Editor on a manifest can delete it. You can delete a manifest when it is in Draft, Active, or Retired state, subject to some restrictions.

Before you begin

Ensure the following before deleting a manifest:
  • You are a Db2 CD administrator user or a participant editor of the manifest to be deleted.
  • The manifest is not active in the current release. If it is referenced by a release with an in-progress or queued deployment, the deletion is canceled.
  • The manifest is not used as a parent or as a child through manifest associations in the current release.
  • No evaluation is in progress for the manifest. If an evaluation is in progress, the deletion is canceled automatically.
Important: Deletion is permanent. You cannot retrieve a deleted manifest.

Procedure

  1. On the navigation menu, click Manage Db2 CD > Manifests.
  2. Locate the manifest you want to delete and click the Overflow menu () on its tile.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. In the Delete manifest dialog box, click Delete to confirm.

Results

The manifest is deleted permanently and is no longer listed on the Manifests page.
