Deleting deployment environments

Only a Db2 CD administrator can delete a deployment environment and its associated targets. A target can be an environment, a group of environments, or a landscape.

Before you begin

• Before attempting to delete a deployment environment, remove it from all paths. An environment that is referenced in a path cannot be deleted.
• The Delete option is enabled only when the deployment environment is not present on any path.
• A deployment environment that was used in a past successful release cannot be deleted. Such environments can only be retired.
• Retiring an environment removes it from eligibility for future path assignments.

Procedure

1. On the navigation menu, click Manage general > Environments.
2. On the Environments page, click the Deployment tab.
3. On the tile of the environment you want to delete, click the Overflow menu (), and then select Delete.
4. Click Delete to confirm.

Results

The deployment environment is successfully deleted.
