Business Rules Manager

Use Business Rules Manager to browse and modify business rule values, create a rule in a rule set or a condition or action in a decision table, and publish changes to business rule definitions. You can use Business Rules Manager only for rules you create for BPEL processes.

Important: The tools and the functions that are available in your cloud subscription are based on the functionality in the equivalent on premise product. The topics that are linked to here are in the documentation for the on-premise product.

Create business rules

Use the business rules editor in Integration Designer to create templates for the rule logic that applies to your BPEL processes. You can also specify which parameters in the rule logic can be changed in the Business Rules Manager at run time. For more information, see Creating business rules.

Change business rules at run time

At run time you can change business rule values, create a rule in a rule set, or create a condition or action in a decision table. You can then publish your changes to the business rule definitions. For more information, see Business process rules manager.
