Administration Console for Content Platform Engine

Use the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine for administrative actions on objects in the case management object stores or administering documents in the BPM document store.

Important: The tools and the functions that are available in your cloud subscription are based on the functionality in the equivalent on premise product. The topics that are linked to here are in the documentation for the on-premise product.

Authorization

To use the Administration Console for Content Platform Engine, you must have the Case Administrators role. If you don't see the tool, your user ID probably doesn't have the correct authorization. Report the issue to your Account Administrator.

Case management administration

The administrative actions that you can take on objects in the case management object stores include the following tasks:
  • View objects and their metadata.
  • Set permissions on case manager objects, such as solution folders or case type folders. For more information, see Configuring security in Content Platform Engine
  • Configure permissions for work item queues and which users can launch workflows. For more information, see Configuring security in Content Platform Engine process services.
  • View solution deployment logs. The Error Deployment Log and the Detail Deployment Log files are stored in the /IBM Case Manager/Solution Deployments/solution_name folder in the target object store.

BPM document store administration

The BPM document store is an embedded document repository for storing documents in Business Automation Workflow on Cloud. It supports most Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) operations and a number of inbound events. You can use coaches to work with documents in the BPM document store.
