Integration considerations for ECM products

To work with specific Enterprise Content Management (ECM) products, it is helpful to have an understanding of their main integration considerations, such as their Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) capabilities and limitations.

CMIS-based interactions for workflows are supported with any ECM product implementing the CMIS 1.1 web service interface. A specific ECM product may not support all optional CMIS capabilities (see the CMIS 1.1 standard External link opens a new window or tab for details). As a result, some workflow content integration steps might not be available for use with a specific product.
