Creating a workflow automation

Design and develop workflow automations and workflow automation services to optimize core business processes.

About this task

You can create a new workflow automation as described here. Alternatively, you can do one of the following:

Reuse workflows created in traditional IBM® Business Automation Workflow by importing projects into Business Automation Studio, and then extending them with automation capabilities. See Converting project artifacts.
Discover and reuse published workflow automation services. See Calling an automation service from a workflow automation.

Procedure

From your Home page, navigate to Design > Business automations.
On the Business automations page, select Create > Workflow automation.
The Create a workflow automation dialog opens.
Give the workflow automation a name. To create a case solution, also check Includes case features.

Results

For processes, the process app designer opens where you can create the artifacts for your business process. See Creating a process. If you're creating a case solution, the case solution designer opens.
