Managing applications
Managing applications in Business
Automation Navigator includes
updating, disabling, enabling, and deleting applications. The changes
that you make to the applications in Business
Automation Navigator are
reflected in the application status that is displayed in the Business
applications page.
Procedure
To manage the applications in the Business Automation Navigator desktop:
- Log in to Business Automation Navigator as an administrator.
- Using the existing connection to the Application Engine, go to the list of published applications in the Applications tab.
- Update an existing application for which a newer snapshot is available in the Application Engine: on the application card, click Update in the context menu to import the latest application snapshot into the Business Automation Navigator.
- If needed, sort the applications by using the Name menu in the upper right above the application list. You can sort the applications by name, by last modified date, or last published date.
- For a quick search, use the filter in the right corner to filter out applications as you type in the name of the application you're looking for.
- Delete applications that are no longer needed. Deleting an application removes it only from the Application Engine. To make the application available for deployment to Business Automation Navigator again, export it from the Business applications page.
- You can disable applications that you do not want business
users to have access to. Enable a disabled application to make it
accessible again to business users. Tip: When you click an application name in the list of published applications, the application opens in an external window. Hence, you might have multiple applications with similar or the same name. To ensure you delete or disable the correct application, click its name and take a quick look at the application before your delete or disable it.
- To update application details, click the overflow menu
on your application tile, then click Details.

You can update registry lookup details, defined endpoints, and REST details. External service binding You can update the authentication type details for the external service that is called by the application. Basic authentication and API key authentication is supported.
