Granting SELECT access on catalog tables
Db2 Admin Tool uses dynamic SQL against the Db2 catalog. Therefore, if you plan to make Db2 Admin Tool available to a large number of users, you should specify those IDs that are authorized to see the catalog. IBM recommends that you do not grant this access to PUBLIC.
Recommendation: When granting access,
always follow the principle of least privilege, which means that users are
granted the minimum level of access necessary for their job
functions.
Procedure
To grant SELECT access on catalog tables:
Generate
the TCz
jobs for the site-specific Db2
subsystem ID (SSID) and submit them in the order that they
are listed on the TCz
Finish
Product Customization (CCQPCST)
panel.
