Option TR. Trusted Contexts
The Trusted Contexts (ADB2AN) panel displays information from the Db2® catalog about trusted contexts.
To display this panel:
- On the System Catalog (ADB21) panel, specify option AO, and press Enter.
- On the System Catalog - Authorizations (ADB21) panel, specify option TR, and press Enter.

Columns
This panel displays the following columns:
- Sel
- Input field where you can enter one of the line commands listed on the panel. Enter a question mark (?) on a row to view all valid line commands.
- Name
- Name of the trusted context.
- Definer
- Authorization ID or role that defined the trusted context.
- DT
- Type of definer. This column can have one of the following values:
- L
- Role
- blank
- Authorization ID
- System Authid
- Db2 primary authoirzation ID used to establish a connection.
- Default Role
- Name of the trusted context default role.
- OT
- Indication of whether the ROLE AS OBJECT OWNER AND QUALIFIER clause is specified in
the definition. This column can have one of the following values:
- L
- Yes
- blank
- No
- EN
- Status of the trusted context. This column can have one of the following values:
- Y
- Enabled
- N
- Disabled
- AL
- Indication of whether the connection is allowed to be reused for PUBLIC. This column
can have one of the following values:
- Y
- Yes
- N
- No
- AU
- Indication of whether authentication is required for PUBLIC when ALLOWPUBLIC is Y.
This column can have one of the following values:
- Y
- Yes
- N
- No
- RC
- Db2 release that is used to create the object. For possible values, see the list of release indicators in Db2 catalog tables (Db2 13 for z/OS).
- IR
- Required by IBM®. A value of Y means that the row came from the basic machine-readable material (MRM) tape. For all other possible values, see the list of release indicators in Db2 catalog tables (Db2 13 for z/OS).
- Context ID
- Internal context ID.
- Created Timestamp
- Timestamp when the trusted context was created.
- Altered Timestamp
- Timestamp when the trusted context was last altered.
- Default Security Label
- Name of the context default RACF security label.
- Remarks
- A character string that is provided using the COMMENT statement.
