Changing IBM Data Web Service Operations (DB2)

You can use the IBM^® Data Web Service Designer to change one or more operations of an IBM data Web service.

Prerequisite: The Web service for which you want to change operations must be open in the IBM Data Web Service Designer.

To change a Web service operation:

In the Operations section of the Web Service view click the row of the operation that you want to change.
Optional: In the Name cell, change the name of the operation.
Optional: In the Operation cell, change the operation text by performing one of the following steps:
- For simple text, change the text in the cell.
- For more complex text, click the cell, click , and then in the Edit Operation window, change the text.
  The Edit Operation window provides syntax highlighting for ease of use.
The operation text can be any valid SQL or SQLXML statement.
From the File menu, select Save, and then close the designer.
