Perform the following to start the Alphablox installer on Windows^(R) platforms:

1. Insert the CD-ROM into the drive. The Alphablox installer should launch automatically, and after a brief period, the first screen appears.
   Note:
   If you will be using Microsoft^(R) Analysis Services with Alphablox, you need to install the minimum required Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) and Microsoft PivotTable Services versions before proceeding with your installation.
2. Continue the rest of the installation procedure on Windows platforms at Responding to Installer prompts.
