Most of the different views of the Mining Visualizers provide common
graphical user interface (GUI) components.
The following list shows the common GUI components of the Mining Visualizers:
- Legend
- Some
of the views use colors, icons, or labels to visualize the results. In these
views, a legend at the bottom of the visualizer page explains how to interpret
the results.
- Status bar
- Some of the views provide textual information in
a status bar. For example, in the Tree View of the Classification Visualizer,
the following information might be displayed in the status bar:
Table 1. Example of the information in a status
bar| 11 nodes in the tree, 3 nodes are pruned |
Current selected node's level is 3 |
In the first part, information about the model is displayed.
In the second part, information about any changes you did to the current view
is displayed.
- Tool bar
- Every view provides a specific tool bar that offers
short cuts to the most important features of the view.
If you do not want to use the GUI components, you can hide them by deselecting
the appropriate component, for example, tool bar, on the View menu.
