Defining and deploying analytic applications

You can create, preview, and deploy reports. You can also create predefined query objects, which you use in report components to extract data. After you create your report, you can create an analytic application that contains the report.

• Creating projects
  A Blox Builder project can contain reporting applications, reports, and query objects.
• Creating reports
  You can create a new report or you can import an existing report from a server.
• Creating query objects
  For commonly used queries, you can create a query object that contains the query and reference the query object when you need to use the query. You can create a new query or you can import an existing query from a server.
• Creating analytic applications
  You must view your reports through an application after you have deployed your reports. You can create a new application or you can import an existing application from a server.
• Importing Blox Builder objects
  You can import an application, report, or query object from an Alphablox server or from a zip file that is on your machine into your workspace.
• Deploying Blox Builder objects
  You can deploy your application, report, or query object to an Alphablox server. You can also store your Blox Builder object in a zip file to deploy at a later time.
