You can remove a variable using the Manage Variables wizard.
Procedure
To remove a variable:
- Click .
- Select the project that is associated with the variable and click Next.
- In the Variables area, click the variable that you want to remove
and click Remove. The variable is
removed from the Variables list.
Note: When you remove
a variable from the Variables list, it is not automatically
removed from the operators that use it. If you do not remove the variable
from the operators that use it, you get a validation error when validating
the data or control flow.
Example
Remove the e_mail_address variable
from the files variable group.
To remove the variable:
- Click .
- Select the project that is associated with the variable and click Next.
- In the Variables area, click e_mail_address and click Remove.
Removed the variable from all the operators that use it. Otherwise,
you get validation errors when validating the data or control flow.
