When you work with workload management controls from the
database that are different from the saved draft that exists in InfoSphere™ Warehouse Workload
Manager, you see a summary of the proposed changes to the incompatible
objects. The summary includes the objects that Workload Manager drops
when you run the configuration.
Workload Manager drops the following incompatible controls
from the database when you run a configuration that includes them.

- Service superclasses other than the underlying service superclass
- Workload Manager drops the service superclasses and the related
entities that are not the underlying service superclass of Workload
Manager (DS_AUTO_MGMT_SUPER).
- Threshold that applies to the database
- Workload Manager drops a threshold that applies to the database.
- Work action set that applies to the database
- Workload Manager drops a work action set that applies to the database.
- Work class sets other than the underlying work class set
- Workload Manager drops the work class sets that are not the underlying
work class set (DS_WORK_CLASS_SET).
- Work classes other than the underlying work classes
- Workload Manager drops any work class in the underlying work class
set (DS_WORK_CLASS_SET) that is not one of the underlying work classes.
- Work actions other than the underlying work actions
- Workload Manager drops any work action in the underlying work
action set (DS_WORK_ACTION_SET) that is not one of the underlying
work actions.
- Service subclasses other than the underlying service subclasses
- Workload Manager drops the service subclasses and the related
entities that are not one of the underlying service subclasses of
the underlying service superclass (DS_AUTO_MGMT_SUPER).
- Disallowed thresholds
- Workload Manager drops all thresholds of the following types:
- TotalDBPartitionConnections.
- TotalSCPartitionConnections.
- ConcurrentWorkloadOccurrences.
- ConcurrentWorkloadActivities.
- ActivityTotalTime thresholds that apply to the underlying service
superclass (DS_AUTO_MGMT_SUPER).
