Uninstalling Pacemaker using the Db2 installer

You can uninstall Pacemaker using the Db2® installer.

Before you begin

Whether you use the Db2 installer or the db2uninstallPCMK uninstall script that is included in the Db2 install media to uninstall Pacemaker, you must meet the basic prerequisites for uninstalling Pacemaker.

About this task

The Db2 installer calls the db2uninstallPCMK uninstall script to perform parts of the Pacemaker uninstall. You can call the db2uninstallPCMK script directly. For more information about using the db2uninstallPCMK script to uninstall Pacemaker refer to Uninstalling Pacemaker using the db2uninstallPCMK uninstall script.

Procedure

To uninstall Pacemaker using the Db2 installer, run the db2_deinstall command with the -a option.

Note: By default, the Db2 installer will uninstall Pacemaker when you run the db2_deinstall command.
