Db2 pureScale Feature enhancements
Db2 12.1 continues to build on Db2 pureScale feature support and provides several enhancements.
The following table displays a list of the new Db2®
pureScale® feature
enhancements in 12.1:

| pureScale on Linux® with Pacemaker is now available for production environments | Pacemaker is replacing TSA as the supported cluster manager for Db2 12.1 on Linux systems . New Db2 pureScale instances that are created on Db2 12.1 on Linux automatically use Pacemaker as the cluster manager. Db2 pureScale instances that are upgraded to Db2 12.1 from earlier releases have their TSA domain dropped and a Pacemaker domain created automatically as part of the upgrade to Db2 12.1. Note that the dropping of the TSA domain affects any non-Db2 resources created by a user in the domain, such as QREP/CDC resources. |
