Deploying a change password plug-in

To enable support for changing passwords in the Db2® database products on Linux® or AIX®, you must configure the Db2 instance to use Transparent LDAP.

About this task

Important: The IBMOSchgpwdclient and IBMOSchgpwdserver have been removed as of Db2 Version 12.1. The default password plugins (IBMOSauthserver and IBMOSauthclient) are functionally identical, and should be used instead of the change password plugins.
