Installing, updating, and uninstalling resource agent scripts for Pacemaker manually

You can manually install, update, or uninstall Pacemaker resource agent scripts from the Db2® install media.

Before you begin

Whether you use the Db2 installer or manually install, update, or uninstall Pacemaker resource agent scripts, you must meet the basic prerequisites for installing, updating, and uninstalling Pacemaker resource agent scripts.

About this task

The Pacemaker resource agent scripts are installed automatically by the Db2 installer when Pacemaker is installed or being installed. If you install or update Pacemaker manually, then you must install or update the resource agent scripts manually. The Db2 installer does not uninstall the resource agent scripts, so to remove these scripts, you must uninstall them manually.

Procedure

To install, update, or uninstall the Pacemaker resource agent scripts manually, use the db2cppcmk utility.

Whether you use the Db2 installer or manually install, update, or uninstall the Pacemaker resource agent scripts, the results are the same.
