Configuring db2locssh

The db2locssh command is an independent tool that is used to run commands on a remote host as the user root. By configuring db2locssh across cluster nodes, remote root login and passwordless SSH do not need to be enabled. db2locssh is supported in the Db2 pureScale feature. When db2locssh is configured, cluster utilities such as db2cm or db2cluster will automatically use db2locssh when necessary.

Db2® 12.1.3 introduces extended support for db2locssh to include HADR configurations and QDevice hosts.
