Db2 public cloud services for Google Cloud

Configuring a two-host HADR Pacemaker cluster on Google Cloud with a quorum device host acting as a cluster arbitrator is supported. The instructions for setting this up remain unchanged when deploying on Google Cloud hosts.

As an alternative solution to the quorum device host, you can use Google Cloud-specific fencing agents that are configured separately.

The use of virtual IP addresses also requires a Google Cloud-specific implementation that differs from the virtual IP configuration that is done by using the db2cm utility.

Information is available for alternate configurations of highly available Pacemaker managed Db2 clusters. For more information, see technote: Alternate or additional configurations available on Google Cloud.
