db2cppcmk command

Installs or updates the Db2® resource agent scripts.

The resource agent scripts are found in /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat on Linux® operating systems. You need these Db2 resource agent scripts to use Pacemaker with the Db2 High Availability feature.

Command parameters

-i
Installs or updates Db2 resource agent scripts for Pacemaker in the /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat folder. The scripts are overwritten by the new Db2 installation in /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat.
-r
Removes the directory /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat. The heartbeat directory contains the Db2 resource agent scripts for the Pacemaker cluster manager.
-h | -?
Displays help information.

Examples

To install or update the Db2 resource agent scripts, use the following command:
db2cppcmk -i
To remove the Db2 resource agent scripts, use the following command:
db2cppcmk -r

Usage notes

This utility installs or updates the Db2 resource agent scripts in the /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat directory. These Db2 resource agent scripts are used by the Pacemaker cluster manager with the Db2 HA feature.

By default, this utility installs the Db2 resource agent scripts in /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/heartbeat. If they are not already installed there, this utility installs or updates the Db2 resource agent scripts only if the Pacemaker software packages are already installed.
