You can update the user information for a Web service by specifying a new password for the Web service.

Note:  This functionality is supported only in Version 8 (all releases) and Version 9.1 (all releases) of DB2 for Linux^®, UNIX^®, and Windows^®. If you are using a more recent version of DB2, use IBM data Web services.

To update the user information:

1. In the Server Explorer, right-click a Web service under your DB2^® data connection, and then select Update User Information on the shortcut menu.

   The Update User Information window opens.

2. Type a new password for the Web service to use to access the DB2 data connection.
3. Click OK.

The user information for the Web service on the DB2 data connection is updated.
