Removing shadow table functionality from Db2 environments

Removing shadow table functionality from Db2 environments consists of uninstalling all the IBM® InfoSphere® Change Data Capture software components, removing database objects, and restoring database settings.

Procedure

To remove the shadow tables functionality from a Db2 environment:

  1. Uninstall all the InfoSphere CDC software components.

  2. Remove all database objects that are associated with shadow tables and reset the Db2 server configuration.
