Reverse Q replication configuration and operation using shell scripts

You can configure Q replication on your target site and perform replication operations from your target site to the source site using shell scripts.

Q Replication enables you to perform all replication functions from your target site to the source site. This is known as reverse configuration. Reverse configuration is optional and is only recommended if you want you have a use case that requires data replication from target to source. The configuration steps are the same as mentioned in the Configuring replication using shell scripts procedure, but must be performed on the target site instead of the source.
Important: When configuring from your target site to the source site, you must select option 'n' for the prompt after running step 7b in the Configuring replication using shell scripts procedure.

After completing the reverse configuration, you can perform all replication operations on your target site. For more information, see Operating replication using shell scripts.
