Use the BLOB Visualizer window to view the contents of a column of BLOB data.
To open the BLOB Visualizer window:
- In the Result Data section of the Data view in
the IBM Data Designer, click a cell that contains BLOB
data and then click
.
- MIME type
- To see the contents of the column of BLOB data, select the MIME type of the data from this list, and then click View.
- View
- After selecting the MIME type, click this button to see the BLOB data in the column.
- Value
- Shows the BLOB data that is in the column or the data that you imported to store in the column.
- Clear data
- Select this check box to delete the data that is shown in the Value field. If you click OK in this window, the data is also cleared from the cell in the result data grid in the Data view of the designer.
- Open File
- Click this button to import data to the column. In the Open window, browse to and select the file that contains the data that you want to import to the column of BLOB data.
