Maintaining a Pacemaker-managed cluster domain for an HADR Db2 instance

A cluster domain is a model that contains information about your Pacemaker-managed cluster resources such databases, mount points, and failover policies. You create a cluster domain using the Db2 Cluster Manager utility (db2cm). The utility uses the information in the cluster domain to automate cluster configuration, maintenance, and administration tasks.

Also, as part of the Db2®+ High Availability (HA) Feature, the Db2 database manager uses the information in the cluster domain to perform automated cluster administration tasks.

Refer to the following topics on how to maintain a Pacemaker-managed cluster domain for your HADR Db2 instance.
Important: In Db2 11.5.8 and later, Mutual Failover high availability is supported when using Pacemaker as the integrated cluster manager. In Db2 11.5.6 and later, the Pacemaker cluster manager for automated fail-over to HADR standby databases is packaged and installed with Db2. In Db2 11.5.5, Pacemaker is included and available for production environments. In Db2 11.5.4, Pacemaker is included as a technology preview only, for development, test, and proof-of-concept environments.
