Install and uninstall logs for Pacemaker

Diagnostic information, warnings, and error messages related to installing, upgrading, and uninstalling Pacemaker are located in install and uninstall logs specific to Pacemaker.

You can install, upgrade, or uninstall Pacemaker using the Db2® installer, or the db2installPCMK or db2uninstallPCMK scripts that are included on the IBM Data Server install media. The Db2 installer uses the db2installPCMK utility and the db2uninstallPCMK utility to perform part of the install, upgrade, and uninstall operations.

The db2installPCMK utility generates a sequence of log files that are named sequentially:
/tmp/db2installPCMK.<log-number>.log
where <log-number> identifies the log file in the sequence.

You can use the -l option with the db2setup, db2_install, or installFixPack command to specify where the db2installPCMK utility should place the Pacemaker install log.

The db2uninstallPCMK utility generates a sequence of log files that are named sequentially:
/tmp/db2uninstallPCMK.<log-number>.log
Where <log-number> identifies the log file in the sequence.

You can use the -l option with the db2_deinstall command to specify where the db2uninstallPCMK utility should place the Pacemaker uninstall log.
