New Server (DB2)
Use the New Server window to identify a Web server on your local drive
to which you want to deploy Web services.
To open the New Server window:
- In the Advanced Options window of the IBM Data Web Service
Designer, click the New button that is next
to the Server list.
- Vendor
- Type the name of the vendor for the Web server that you are
identifying.
- Server type
- Specify the type of Web server that you are identifying.
- Host name
- Specify the host name of the local Web server.
- Web server installation directory
- Click Browse and then browse to the directory
on your local drive in which you have installed the Web server.
- Port configuration
- Specify the configuration ports for the local Web server.
- HTTP port
- The port at which clients connect to the Web server.
- Tomcat admin port (available only for Apache Tomcat
5.5 Web server)
- The port used for administering the Tomcat Web server.
- AJP/1.3 (available only for Apache Tomcat 5.5 Web
server)
- The port used by the Apache Tomcat Web server for communication
with a Web connector through the Apache JServ Protocol.
- Security
- Specify the security options for the WebSphere®
Application Server, Community Edition, Version 1.1 Web server.
- User ID
- Administrator user ID for the Web server.
- Password
- Password for the Web server Administrator user ID.
