New Server (DB2)

Use the New Server window to identify a Web server on your local drive to which you want to deploy Web services.

To open the New Server window:

In the Advanced Options window of the IBM Data Web Service Designer, click the New button that is next to the Server list.

Vendor

Type the name of the vendor for the Web server that you are identifying.

Server type

Specify the type of Web server that you are identifying.

Host name

Specify the host name of the local Web server.

Web server installation directory

Click Browse and then browse to the directory on your local drive in which you have installed the Web server.

Port configuration

Specify the configuration ports for the local Web server.

HTTP port: The port at which clients connect to the Web server.
Tomcat admin port (available only for Apache Tomcat 5.5 Web server): The port used for administering the Tomcat Web server.
AJP/1.3 (available only for Apache Tomcat 5.5 Web server): The port used by the Apache Tomcat Web server for communication with a Web connector through the Apache JServ Protocol.

Security

Specify the security options for the WebSphere^® Application Server, Community Edition, Version 1.1 Web server.
