HADR Support | Support is available where cloud providers have performed testing and published blueprints (cluster managers TSAMP or Pacemaker). For example, with versions of Pacemaker not provided and validated by Db2®, issues related to cluster managers such as automatic failover, setup, configuration, tuning, and others will be supported by the supplier of Pacemaker and its dependent software. In this scenario, Db2 will provide support on non-cluster manager related issues. In Db2 version 11.5.4, Pacemaker was released as a Technical Preview. Db2 provides and supports Pacemaker as an integrated cluster manager solution in HADR only if the Pacemaker and its software stack used are supplied by Db2 directly and configured using the new db2cm utility. In Db2 version 11.5.5 and later, Pacemaker is no longer in Technical Preview and customers may deploy this in production environments. See Integrated solution using Pacemaker for information on Pacemaker integrated with Db2. | |||||

Db2 Advanced Copy Services (ACS): if there is no embedded support between ACS and the storage solution, then the customer or cloud service vendor needs to write their own scripts.
