Security enhancements
Db2 11.5.7 provides enhanced security when establishing Transport Layer Securiity (TLS, formerly SSL) connections.
Attention: This mod pack release is currently available for
the following Db2 products:
- Db2 on-premises
- The single container deployments of Db2 Warehouse and IBM Integrated Analytics System (IIAS).
- The container micro-service deployment of Db2 on Red Hat OpenShift.
Table 1 displays a list of security enhancements in Db2 11.5.7:
Enhancement | Description |

New KMIP configuration parameter PRIMARY_SERVER_HOST and PRIMARY_SERVER_KMIP_PORT | Specify the primary (previously called master) server hostname and port using
PRIMARY_SERVER_HOST and PRIMARY_SERVER_KMIP_PORT
configuration parameters for KMIP. The old configuration parameters
MASTER_SERVER_HOST and MASTER_SERVER_KMIP_PORT may still
