IBM Database Add-Ins for Visual Studio

Building IBM Web Services  (WORF)

The IBM® Database Add-Ins for Visual Studio give you easy access to functionality for using routines and database objects to create and deploy Web services to the DB2® embedded application server and the Microsoft application server. This functionality is available through the IBM DB2 Web Service provider, which is also known as Web Object Runtime Framework (WORF).

Note:  This functionality is supported only in Version 8 (all releases) and Version 9.1 (all releases) of DB2 for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®. If you are using a more recent version of DB2, use IBM data Web services.
