Select XML Schema Source  (DB2)

Use the Select XML Schema Source window to select the XML schema document (XSD) whose elements and attributes you want to map to columns in database tables.

To open the Select XML Schema Source window:

  1. In the Server Explorer, right-click XML Schema Repository under your data connection, and then select Add Annotated XML Schema on the shortcut menu.
  2. In the Annotated XML Schema view, right-click in the Mapping Editor section, and then select Add XSD Source on the shortcut menu.

XML schema source
Select the option button that indicates the registered XML schema document or XML schema file that you want to use as the source for the mapping process.
Use registered XML schema
Select this option to use an XML schema document that is registered in the XML Schema Repository (XSR). If you select this option, you must select the database schema in which the XML schema is stored, and the XML schema document.
Owner
Select the name of the database schema in which the XML schema is stored.
XML schema name
Select the name of the XML schema that is in the XML Schema Repository to use as the source.
Use document from a Web service
Select this option to infer the XML schema from the WSDL result of a Web service. Specify the URL to the published WSDL file, and then click Validate WSDL to validate the WSDL that you entered.
Validate WSDL
Checks whether the URL that you specify is a valid WSDL document.
Use document from file
Select this option to use an XML schema file of type .xsd as the source. Click Ellipsis button to browse the file system and select the file.
