With the IBM Script Designer, you can create and run a script to add a new DB2 SQL or IDS SPL procedure or function, or an IBM database table or view to the database.
You can review and update the DDL script for an IBM database table or view.
You can update a single SQL or SPL statement or multiple statements in an SQL
or SPL procedure or function.
To open the IBM Script Designer:
- In the Server Explorer, right-click your IBM data connection node, and then select New Script on the shortcut menu.

In the Server Explorer under your IBM data connection, right-click
an SQL or SPL routine or a database object, and then select Show
Script on the shortcut menu.
The designer consists of a single view, the Script view.

Use the 
button on the IBM Script Designer toolbar to run the
script that is open in the designer.
